Joyce Rudy and allApparently we should post about the monsoon more often...rained all night, woo hoo got close to a half an inch LOL For the rest of you a half inch in Phoenix is a lot. Our normal yearly total is (hopefully) around 7 inches. I know some of you get that in 1 or 2 days. Only place I've ever lived that people go outside to watch the rain. (I'm guessing they do that in Texas too) Also only place I've ever lived that it can literally rain on one side of the street and not the other (I've seen it) The whole city smells like one giant creosote bush....course the humidity is making it really hard to breath but such is life. I'm feeling great, found out National Jewish is in network for me so my insurance will pay. Advocating for my o2 needs - Apria is in network so will be contacting them for interview...Life is Good (yeah well except for that whole terminal thing but we are not doing that today) Hugs and prayers to all that need them!Dyane Phoenix IPF 02

Hi Dyane- yesterday it was clouded over and rained on and off all day long...what a strange phenom! Around here it rains extremely hard for about 15 minutes and then suddenly quits and the sun comes out. Thunder and lightening terrifically! We get down pours of 3-4 inches...sometimes more.... in a small amount of time...And, yes, we too get rain in the front yard but not in the back yard. Ahahahhaha I always thought that was so odd. I have a "canal" in the back yard which is partially my property and when it rains it will run wildly for half an hour or more... almost over the bank one time. But gotta love the rain!
