Theater and movies and hair dryers, oh my!

Good morning all!

OK - now for my next silly questions. Do any of our oxygen users use their

portable units at the movies or theater, on pulse? I'm just wondering if the

little " puff " sound would be a disruption to those around me if I do.

Is it dangerous to use a hair dryer while using oxygen? How about hair spray or

other aerosols? Toasters?

My oxygen supplier has said that the concentrator does not need to be near an

open window. It just needs room around it, and not to be in an enclosed space,

like a closet. Is that what you've been told, too?

And finally (for now....) what's the deal with using vaseline, oils and lotions?

Anybody know why that is warned against?
