Guest guest
I am a NEW person. In just three days, on a low-salicylate diet I have come alive. Yesterday I woke up suddenly feeling like seeking out other people (if you knew me you'd know how weird that is. I usually go to great lengths to avoid them) I only needed just a 30 min. nap (usually it's 2 hrs) and shot hoops for 30 min. Today, I woke up and felt immediately like going for a bike ride. Went biking for two hours (*with* another person) and skipped the nap completely. Feel great. No crashing after meals. Head is clear. Nothing is hard. Handwriting has completely changed. It's *neat* again. I have noticed over the years that it has gotten messy and sometimes, out of the blue, it's really neat for a day or two, then back to the scrawl. And no amount of effort can make it neat when it's like that. I've tried. Amazing. I sit and wait after eating, wait for the crash. It never comes. Crazy. Crazzzzzzzzzzzzzy. I had a some pretty bad anxiety/panic the first evening. I figured it was a healing crisis and I was fine the next morning -- I think it was. That one decision to reach out and offer input changed my life. I was so suicidal this summer. I just couldn't take this anymore -- 40 more years was just unthinkable. Anyone know the effects of a long-term assault like this on the liver? Jen
