Your 3rd baby too isn't it? for me I've got bigger each time and it's all bump with some fluid retention throughout my body, I'm normally a size 10-12 but having to take a size 16 in maternity clothes to accommodate my 'bump'!! I was worried about just how large I would get when I was showing early but although I'm pretty big the rate of growth did slow down. Mari was a 'larger' babi (9lb10oz) so I think it's a lot to do with how stretched I was carrying her rather than indicating the size of this babi, I know she's a good size but I feel she might be smaller than Mari because I'm more comfortable carrying her - we'll find out soon What size were your babies? > Everyone is taking great delight in telling me that it must be twins as I am > so big already Oh that old chestnut! This was probably the only reason that I had the 12wk scan - because of people going on " it must be twins " - even after the scan, they said " are you sure it's just one? " I felt like screaming ......... still do in fact .......... I'll stop there before I get into my major larger babi's <rant> ... to be continued no doubt Gethyn does reassure me what a 'beautiful' bump I have when I get down after the umpteenth comment from some insensitive health professional; relative; stranger; friend .......... BTW just noticed your post re: PPH and water-birth, I'll respond later, struggling to keep up with my mail at the moment ... NTL server was down most of today <grrrrrr> Jenni ( & Gethyn) 17yrs, Mari 3yrs (H/B) Babi Bach: 37wks+ (Planning Home Water-Birth) " If you don't know your options - you don't have any "
