Can I just warn against eating bananas in the morning for adrenal compromised

people. I read recently - adrenal book page 138 from memory I do not

have the book to hand) but I have found this to be very true, that if you have a

banana first thing you will then be almost unable to get up from the armchair

for the whole morning you will be so wiped out. Bananas from lunchtime onwards

fine.

Val

I too have some issues with chest pain. I prefer to use the term

" chest tightness " since that's more what it feels like to me. I've

found that eating a banana can give some relief...

I've read several reports over the years of nasty acid reflux from ALA. I've

felt it myself

during a night dose. So has one of my kids.

That is one possibility to consider, re: chest pain.

Consolidated answers to a number of posts here: yes, I believe that the

ALA in water caused the reflux part of my problem. It's been 3 days

since the round and the effect of the burning is just now starting to

go away. I also thought it might be the " edge " of a virus that's been

going around here because it's lasted so much longer than the round.

And, although bananas used to be one of my mainstay foods for smoothies

and the like, I can no longer eat them; they were on my IgG allergy

item list and, on the rare occasion I dare try a little bit, they make

me feel awful. Darn.

ALA works just fine by itself, you don't need the DMSA.
