Guest guest
Dear migrant health research colleagues, The Pacific Northwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center, funded by the National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety, is pleased to announce funding opportunities for projects related to agricultural safety and health. Each year of its current funding cycle (2006-2011) they will be offering opportunities for Northwest researchers, students, and community members and organizations to apply for project funding directly through the Center. The total award amount may be up to $25,000 in direct costs per project. Projects will be one year in length and selection of awards will be based on scientific merit and program relevance. The goal of this funding program is to stimulate innovative research; encourage collaboration between institutions and involvement with concerned communities; and attract new and established investigators to the field of agricultural health and safety.
