Guest guest
Hi Robin- Regarding hormone testing - I'm pretty sure that saliva testing is much more useful than serum (blood). In saliva you learn your levels of active (free) hormone. Serum testing generally tells you total amounts which doesn't tell you what you need to know. You can get an " adrenal stress index " saliva test from Diagnos-Techs (one of the very good labs) for $109 from canaryclub.org. The ASI test includes 4 cortisol samples, plus DHEA, estratiol, progesterone, and testosterone. uses saliva testing. She prefers ZRT Labs but said Diagnos-Techs was OK too (and half the price). Take care, Dana _____ From: frequent-dose-chelation [mailto:frequent-dose-chelation ] On Behalf Of robin I've been benefiting from extra hormone supplementation. (40mgDHEA, 50mgPregnenolone, .05mgEstradiol, 200mgProgesterone, 6mgTestosterone- cream, 30mgLATsustained-release) It's clear I was low in most everything as I'm feeling much more grounded now. Until I get in to see (need hair test first), I'm relying on a good doctor I've used in Santa -- Gordon M.D. -- for scripts and tests. He offered me a urine test for hormones from Rhein Lab. The cost is $225. What do you think?
