I just remembered that in my childhood, we always used to say that kids with

vertical ridges in their nails have a Zinc deficiency ?!

I never found out how true that is, but that is what we believed in the

small farm school I went to !

Anybody with a Zinc deficiency and vertical ridges on their nails? ;)
