Not sure where you live Hannah & too late for today - but I have always

found tropical fish shops interesting places to take children. They

are fascinated by the luminous fish which dart around in shoals!

We have one which is at a Water garden centre, so open on Sundays :-) -

they also have lots of garden layouts, mostly including bridges & water

features, which the children loved in good weather, & also pond fish

(koi carp) . There was a little tea room in summer - where I used to

have a nice pot of tea while they had a mini milk!

Good idea Barbara - we used to do garden centres before we moved, have yet

to suss out any decent ones up this way yet..... Sunday wasn't too bad in

the end - we made a huge chocolate cake - and it didn't rain all day so they

played outside for a bit.
