Guest guest
I have asked myself this very often if the damage is fully reversible. It would be very interesting to know how exactly mercury causes brain malfunction and where it does damage. Maybe it does more real 'physical' damage by killing brain cells etc. or more in a sense that it blocks and interferes with a lot of processes. What i do know is that: 1. It causes oxidative stress. 2. It poisons the mitochondria and interferes with energy production. What i would like to know is if in iatrogenic chronic low level poisoning cases a significant number of brain cells and other structures die and this causes the malfunction or if the brain cells dont die but become less efficient because of the poisoning and this causes the problem? Maybe Andy can explain this? Or did he already do this?
