Guest guest
Hello, I am having a problem with hypoglycemia at night. Almost every night, I wake up at about 3 am and am starving and wide awake. I then lie awake for 60-90 minutes and end up rather exhausted when the alarm goes off at 7. It does not seem to matter what I have for dinner or whether I eat dinner at 6, 7, or 8. It does not matter whether I am on or off round. Does this mean high or low cortisol at night? Any suggestions on how to handle it? I am already on 20 mg HC per day and I don't really want to increase it. I also live very far from my doctor so changing the Rx right now is not really possible. I would need to make changes to diet. (I am currently on SCD). Thanks for any input. ---Katharine
