Guest guest
Hello to all, I'm new so I"m not sure I'm in the right place. I'm a 78 year old guy who had a Cardiac stent implanted on March 16, 2009. Recovery didn't go as expected; tests followed with CT scan that showed Pulmonary Fibrosis. Prior I was healthy. Cut my own grass, worked my large perennial garden, volunteered at hospital transporting patients in their wheel chairs and because my wife has Alxheimer's disease I cook and clean the house. Only medication was for Hypertension. Had no other issues. Today I'm use Oxygen to function; fatigued and dependent on my children for many of things I used to do for myself. I'm wondering if any of you have had a similair experience. The doctors say that the stent implant couldn't cause Pulmonary Fibrosis. That I understand but what aggravated it?. I suspect it may be Plavix, the blood thinner med that I given as soons as I arrived in the ER and have been taking ever since. I'd apprecaite your imput. Thanks.
