I would really be particularly careful with children, because they are not able to communicate what is going on. There have been reports on the AM list of people basically killing their kids with the side effects of high doses, without even knowing it. Only because the kid made some apparently off-hand remark were these parents able to work out what was going on. This, for example, is why Andy suggests a maximum dose for kids 50% less than that for adults. So, I would say that in the case of children, you need to be far more careful - to the point of extreme rigidity, to avoid any negative effects.
