Guest guest
...., Thanks for posting this. I am only at 17....wondered how chelation has helped. Just need some encouragement. I feel like an inch worm when I really would like to hop across the field like a rabbit. Thanks colette > Sometimes we don't post because there is simply nothing very exciting to report. Chelation is a long, routine--even tedious--process. I am on my 34th round (started last August). I'm now at 50 mg ALA and 25 mg DMSA. Yes, chelation has helped me but I know I still have a long way to go. >
Guest guest
Hi Colette, Most of the time, I feel like an inchworm, too. In this world of instant gratification, drive-throughs, and quick fixes, we should remember that we didn't get sick overnight and that healing will take time. In his original Zone Diet book, Dr. Barry Sears says that, given the right tools, the human body has a remarkable ability to repair itself. As I crawl across the chelation field, I try to keep those words in mind. Please note that I started adrenal support (HC, DHEA, testosterone) about a year ago (before amalgam removal) and that has helped a lot, too. Here's a summary of what I've experienced so far. Improved clarity of mind More energy Improved sense of smell & easier breathing (less stuffed up nose) Improved libido Better digestion (also helped by strong anti-yeast actions) Less anxiety & greater optimism Finally, somewhere I read that mercury promotes procrastination and sloppiness, and, in my experience, that is true. Within the last few weeks, I've felt a surge of desire to get things done and to create order in my home. From time to time, I feel like my old, mega-organized, super-tidy Virgo self. :-) Knowing that that person is there, buried under a ton of metal, is enough to inspire me to keep going. Hope this helps. ----Katharine cann7899 wrote: ..., Thanks for posting this. I am only at 17....wondered how chelation has helped. Just need some encouragement.
