in my prime I have much more I wish to do in life. And i just have to

fight i have alot of people counting on me and i don't want to let

them down. And it sure has made me apprecate life more than ever and

that can't be a bad thing. So im just going to take things one day at

a time. And try to learn all i can from the great people here.

jeff...

if you didn't have some bad days now and then you wouldn't be

human. i'm new to all this myself so i also have been taking things

one day at a time. my recovery from the surgery has been

incredible... i feel almost normal except for some occassional

fatigue. in some ways i feel a little guilty because i feel so good

and so many others out there feel so bad.

if this helps you, i look at every day since my diagnosis as 'bonus

time'. my appreciation for many things has increased tremendously,

and i don't feel like i can afford to waste a single day feeling

sorry for myself. i still have an occassional bad day but i never

get too down... this may sound a little corny but if you look

up 'jim valvano's espy speech' on the internet you may find a ton of

inspiration by listening to it....a few times.

hang in there...
