I drove up here from my home in Durham today to have a quick visit with my son before pulmonary rehab starts on Wednesday. We had a nice afternoon together, did some shopping and admiring the view on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also talked alot. It's so nice now that he's an adult and we're not at each others throats anymore. Those teenage years are tough! Tonight Matt and his girlfriend and I went out for dinner together and now I'm tucked into my hotel room. Had a nice soak in the jetted tub and I'm about to crawl into bed. Tomorrow I'll have lunch with Matt and then head back to Durham. Hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
