Guest guest
Sher There are several concentrators similar in size. I own one that I got just to use at my cousin's house because there were way too many steps to get anything else up there. Mine is a Respironics Ever Flow and it weighs 30 pounds, less than 40 dba and 350 Watts. Compared to the Visionaire it uses a little more electricity but also has a slightly higher oxygen concentration. But there is a huge difference between moving around or getting a 30 lb concentrator in and out of your car versus a 50 pound one. Unfortunately, the oxygen suppliers are using the old concentrators they have in inventory and so few patients get the benefit of the improved technology. Glad you have the Visionaire. > > > > > > > > Jan, > > > > Congrats - you must be glad this portion is > > complete. How long is the > > > > process? Guest guest
Sher Well, there are lots of older products out there but the Respironics Milleneum is the most popular of the new ones. Unfortunately I haven't seen 10 lpm similar to the Visionaire yet. They're still over 50 pounds and high electricity users and more noisy. Maybe by the time you need one that will change. > > > > > > > > > > Jan, > > > > > Congrats - you must be glad this portion is > > > complete. How long is the > > > > > process?
