The test doesn't meet the counting rules. That doesn't rule out

mercury toxicity. In this case the next steps would be to do a

porphyrin test, or remove all amalgam and do a trial of chelation.

Side effects with chelation would confirm toxicity.

It may be difficult to convince someone of this age.
