I have the odd 'hobby' of reading old medical books and journals that I find in used books stores - when they have colon related information. So yesterday I was reading a 1940s Oxford Medicine journal. And the discussion was about how cancer is more prevelant in mid to later life, EXCEPT for colon cancer where it is relatively common to see cases in the 40's, 30's and even the 20's. I am trying to talk the book seller into selling that copy to me - outside of the whole set. However, today I'm going back to copy the reference so that I can see if the library can get a copy of those pages for me. When they do I will post them on our website. Imagine that....since at least the 1940's it has been known that colon cancer happens frequently in the under 50 crowd. Priscilla A. Savary Amazing and disgusting at the same time, Priscilla!!! Do we think they just don't want to cure it?? Do we think the drug companies and drs. will go broke?? Ya know what.... I don't want to think about this...it makes me sick!!! Guess we all need to get on the band wagon with you Priscilla!!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
