Problems with Philly 3-day eval.

Early in August, I'm scheduled for the 3-day transplant evaluation at the UPenn Lung Center. I'd been told earlier that the heart cath. was the last day, and since I didn';t have a driver, that if I stayed at the hotel there for another day, then I could drive myself home. Yesterday I got a different story. Gotta have a driver. The person who could drive me home is in Florida. I don't know anybody else here who could take off work, take me there, bring me home, etc. Philly is a 2-hour drive away. After wrangling all day, it was determined that maybe I can have the heart cath. done here in town, and still do the first two days in Philadelphia. IF IT AIN'T ONE THING, IT'S YOUR MOTHER! Always be prepared to fight for yourself, be your own best advocate. Their rules are black and white, and living alone, sometimes I have to do shades of gray. Hopefully all's well that appears to have ended well. #!!%* & *
