Guest guest
In the last couple of months I have been supplementing with betaine HCL since I was barely producing any stomach acid and absorbing any protein/fat. This was on recommendation of . Everything was working great. My blood sugar was doing great and I felt awesome for the first time ever with temp of 98.6 and higher regularly. I wasn't sure that sulfur foods were causing a problem but I excluded them mostly for a while. I decided to reintroduce them to see if I have a reaction. After I reintroduced them for a week, I had an allergic reaction to peanut butter. This is the first allergic reaction I've had in almost a year Ever since then I have felt a huge fullness in my stomach and lost all the benefits I was having, and my temp is on the low side again. I am still taking the betain HCL(up to 6 capsules per meal) with no benefit. I suspect my gut may be inflamed or something from the allergic reaction? How can I get the inflammation to go away so I can feel good again? What exactly does gut inflammation cause, and should I stop taking betaine HCL? How long does it take to go away? Guest guest
Supplement with loads of probiotics (many different brands/strains) and zinc-carnosine. Glutamine is important, but only use as much as you can without aggravating yeast overgrowth. If probiotics don't seem to be helping, open the caps and mix 'em in your food (not very hot food), or you can even use them to ferment soups, shakes, rice milk, etc (bacteria grow well on anything with protein and carbohydrate and grow faster when an abundance of minerals and perhaps a little fat are present - this takes a few hours if done at body tmperature and a few days at room temp - this works very well, because the bugs are strong and hardy (from feeding) when you send 'em in (your gut) and don't die easily when confronted with stomach acid and pathogens. Combining enzymes with probiotics is not very efficient, if you didn't already know this, since enzymes digest bugs. Please let me know if you implement any of this and don't feel better. > > In the last couple of months I have been supplementing with betaine > HCL since I was barely producing any stomach acid and absorbing any > protein/fat.
