Narice... I think the 50+ lbs. is part of your spouse having Cancer....it's

part of the disease...only it affects US, not the patient....LOL

After I quit smoking in 1988 I said that if I ever get

a fatal disease I'll start smoking again. Well, now I

have a fatal disease and I still won't start smoking

again.

The one thing I enjoy in life is the companionship of

other human beings and after I quit I realized just

how horrible it must have been for others to be around

me a put up with all the bad things a smoker radiates.

I won't smoke again because I love people too much.

I quit smoking and chewed sugarless gum. Lots of it.

Until my jaws hurt. LOL

Smoking does relieve stress. It is a comforting habit.

Even 12 years after I quit, I was under tremendous

stress and thought about smoking again. How easy it

would be to get one from my mom's purse and go in the

bathroom. No! I wouldn't do it again! I remembered

when I would get bronchitis and my lungs felt like

they were on fire. After I quit smoking I never had

any cold go down and hurt my lungs like that. Maybe a

bad cough and congested lungs, but not the burning

pain that I had back when I used to smoke.

In the meantime, I hope to g-d that

you are not smoking. I know you are going through

more than anyone can

take,

but believe me, we are all there and there are better

ways to cope. I just

don't want you to get something more serious. You

need rest and sleep.

With

Glen's issues, that can be difficult but take all the

naps you can.

Thinking of you.

Hi .... hope you are feeling better today!!

I know you have my best interests at heart...so could

you please tell me a

better way to cope...LOL

Lydia, I often wonder where cancer comes from. My old hayman who is

86 years old raises his own vegtables and raises his own cattle. He

has protraste cancer. He still farms.

His wife who died recently had breast cancer. I often wonder what

caused them to both have cancer. The lived very healthy. Love, Ingrid

Len, That is the neatest way to put it. You must be a very caring

person. I hope you are feeling better. How are you feeling? Ingrid
