Guest guest
Averi: What kind of journaling? Do you mean recording your treatments, side effects, etc. or general journaling? I went to a lecture at the Wellness Center by a Rabbi who is a stage 4 colon cancer survivor. He said we should all be writing to our family: to our spouse and children. Especially for children, we need to tell them what is important to us, our values, what wisdom we have learned along the way. He said we should never assume that they get this by osmosis; i.e., just being with us. Also, he told a story of going to a family home whose father had died, to discuss the father. When he asked what was important to him, the kids all said golf. They didn't know how else to describe him.

Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
