Losing 100 lbs. surely makes a difference in one's stature and features. He is getting much weaker...but so damn bull-headed. He isn't using the cane that was provided by Hospice weeks ago!! He fell yesterday straight back from standing at the toilet. More bruises, but they are " real " bruises!! I'm afraid when Hospice hears this, they will say he shouldn't be left alone...and he probably should't be. It just so happens no one showed up from hospice yesterday, so he had dried blood all down his arms and legs (from the arm). Had to clean him up and the floor when I got home. Not sure who's coming today from Hospice, but they have to get some kind of a routine schedule...there's suppose to be someone come by on the days I'm at work...instead the Nurse and Soc. Worker showed up Wed. and no one Thurs. Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
