Taking 5-HTP. Once a day, or twice/day better?

My husband is doing great at 100mg of 5-HTP, twice a day.

If I can get 200 mg capsules at a better price than 100mg capsules, would it

work just as

well to take the same quanitity (200 mg/day) just once a day?
