Re: injection prevents nausea & vomiting for up to 5 days

I get a bag of aloxi before my chemo. I wish it lasted 5 days!

Just FYI. My husband received this prior to each of

his chemo treatments. His onc also prescribed oral

anti-nausea & anti diarrhea meds that he took for the

first 3-4 days following each treatment as

preventative. I know everyone is different, but he had

very little problem with nausea and diarrhea when he

followed this regime, regardless of which chemo drugs

he was on.
