Guest guest
Mic hael Most adrenal testing is not useful for mercury toxic people. The only reliable test is the cortisol saliva test. For this reason, most mercury toxic people use adrenal support based on symptoms and ignore the tests. If you are in a position to order lab tests consider them, but base treatment options on signs and symptoms. The cortisol saliva testing MUST be done 4 times a day due to the fluctuations of cortisol induced by the circadian rhythm. Random cortisol blood (serum) or saliva tests at random points during the day have no value. The cortisol saliva test is the best, but again, it is also not always conclusive - especially with mercury poisoning. Strong symptomology is the best indicator which can be confirmed with a cortisol saliva test if necessary. Also, having results fall just within the so-called 'normal range' doesn't mean you're at an optimal or even functional level. I'm sure someone else can give more suggestions ? Guest guest
Should you do decide to have a test, the best lab to have the saliva tests performed by is Diagnos Techs in the USA. Their tests are very comprehensive and they will offer your doctor excellent support as well as a suggested treatment program. You can also have a full male or female endocrine profile and a thyroid panel done with them. They will need 5-7days to process the test and will e-mail your doctor the results. This is the best solution by far and includes free follow-up consultations with their doctors, with treatment options, and ongoing e-mail support. Guest guest
Hi - Doctor's Data is good for hair tests - I don't remember any tests recommended from them for adrenals. A person can get saliva tested for cortisol and sex/steroid hormones through http://www.canaryclub.org/. They offer saliva testing through Diagnos-Techs and ZRT Labs (tests are for estrogen, progesterone, DHEA, cortisol (4 samples), and testosterone. These can be ordered through Canary Club without a doctor. I got one through them from Diagnos-Techs, but NP prefers ZRT (which is more expensive). Dana _____ From: frequent-dose-chelation [mailto:frequent-dose-chelation ] On Behalf Of mercurybeater Question I seem to remember that Dr's data is one of the recommended lab tests for adrenal tests where they measure your cortisol over 4 times during the day and also DHEA any others I cannot seem to find definitive ones in files/links section? are there any of these that you do not need a dr's requisition for?
