I felt the energy flow...I hope it reached you guys... Marty Well...now I know why " we " had such a " wonderful " day yesterday!!! The prayers and positive thoughts came flowing through, Marty...big time!!! Thanks...can you do it again today?? Not putting any pressure on you, am I? LOL Seriously, Glenn had the best day yesterday he's had in months. Smiling, talking, tearing up with emotions, eating, awake and no diarrhea all day long. The Oxycodone was helping with the pain and we applied a Fentanyl pain patch last night, so am hoping that will alleviate the pain on a continuous basis...thus adding immensely to his quality of life. The Hospice Nurse told him to eat/drink anything he wanted within reason...don't attempt a diabetic coma, but enjoy....so we had Hot Fudge Sundaes for " dinner " last night...big ones!!! He knew the effects would not be fun, but he did enjoy the sundae... He's still sleeping, so I'm not sure how many times he was up during the night...I know of 2. Keep the energy flowing, Marty, but save some for yourself!!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
