Guest guest Posted May 26, 2008 Report Share Posted May 26, 2008 I just finished my first round of DMPS (6.25 mg every 8 hours for 3 days) last week. Today I took the first ose of my 2nd round (also 6.25mg). But I am have been suspecting that I have some narrowing of part of my already shortened bowel (due to Crohns surgery) and am worried it could worsen to the point of needing another surgery. About a year and a half ago when I felt a similar situation I took the Prednisone equivalent med known as entocort/budesonide - I had a low dose (gradually increased to 15mg from 5 mg per day) for about 3 months.
