Here is what Andy says: http://onibasu.com/archives/am/156474.html I am an adult about twice your daughter's weight and I take six capsules per day of VRP lithium orotate, so sounds like you could try up to three caps. -- > Thanks in advance, > Summer >
Guest guest
> Are the symptoms just for a day or so after the round, or ongoing > for the entire off-round period? -----That's really tough for me to answer. Last week was our first round. Her behavior was so good on round! Then the day after the round came, and she seemed to melt down over anything. It lasted close to 3 days. It was similar to how she's always acted, prior to chelation. However, her behavior, in general, has improved dramatically since being on Lithium. But, like I said, the lithium improvements were noticeable before her first round. Now, after one round under our belt, the lithium doesn't seem to be affecting her like it had been. > I am an adult about twice your daughter's weight and I take six > capsules per day of VRP lithium orotate, so sounds like you could > try up to three caps. > > -- ----I think I will try 2 caps tmr. Then see how she responds. I wonder if I have her on enough ACE? I know that chelation is hard on the adrenals. She already had noticeable adrenal fatigue. She takes 125mg, 2x's a day. Do you think I should increase that as well? > > > Thanks in advance, > > Summer > > >

If the 3 days of problem behaviors resolved before starting a new round, then what you saw was " end of round side effects " and she would do better with a lower dose on the next round. It's common to have an " off " day on the first day after a round. When it goes on for three days it suggests the dose was too high. > However, her behavior, in general, has improved dramatically since > being on Lithium. I would try a lower chelator dose first. It pays to change one thing at a time and to choose the thing most likely to be causing the problem. It sounds to me like the chelator dose is the most likely source of the problem behavior. > > I am an adult about twice your daughter's weight and I take six > > capsules per day of VRP lithium orotate, so sounds like you could > > try up to three caps. > > > > -- > > > ----I think I will try 2 caps tmr. Do you think I should increase that as well? The symptoms do sound very adrenal, but the stress her adrenals are suffering is the stress of redistribution at the end of the round. Reducing the chelator dose can solve the problem. If that doesn't take care of it, then it would make sense to increase the ACE. I forgot to ask what dose you started with? Note that some adults find 12.5 mg too much and they must start even lower, say 6.25 mg. For an adult that's a good deal less than 1/8 mg per pound. So don't hesitate to try a very low dose in the interest of keeping life a lot simpler and more comfortable for both of you. -- > > > Thanks in advance, > > > Summer > > > > > >
