Guest guest Posted October 21, 2005 Report Share Posted October 21, 2005 Wilm's tumor is indeed in the kidneys one or both but is rare and usually a childhood cancer. In fact my brother had it 35 years ago when he was 3. He had the kidney removed. Later he did get 2-3 spots on his lungs but they were able to get rid of them quickly. He is ow 38, healthy and a carpenter/contractor in Kingston. Massachusetts and even was one of the volunteer carpenters on Extreme Makeover who helped with the little girl's art room and the secret room on the series opener. Unfortunately he has the vice of most construction workers HE SMOKES!! He tried to quit before my Dad died of lung cancer but the stress from that has him smoking MORE.
