>Jada and Everyone Else, Too--

>Below are my CBC results and I'd appreciate comments from anyone

knowledgeable about

my results, esp. pertaining to anemia.

>Jada said in an old post re: anemia---

> " Mycrocytic hemolytic anemia: it is in Andy's book and is the result of

heavy metals. I had this...small pale red cells and too many red

cells. Most doctors read this as " anemia " on a blood test. As his book

says it is caused by heavy metals interfering with blood cell production. "

>My question: Where does it say that in his book? I've just looked up the

following in the AI

index: anemia-nothing. microscytic hemolytic anemia--nothing. Iron: I read

every page

listed for iron in the index. Nothing like that. Is it in the onibasu files or

archives

somewhere? This, I did find on page 156 and 157: " The best place for you to be

is in the

low end of the normal range. If you are low and have some symptoms of being

low, take a

bit of supplement. Otherwise avoid it. "

Probably under porphyria.

>I ask this because I just got a CBC and it shows a lot of low ranges,

including very low iron and ferritin, etc. I've been searching for answers

since I'm too impatient to wait for my dr appt where we'll deal w/this. I'm

VERY low energy, low stamina. Thought it was all due to adrenals, but I guess

there's more at work than that. I'm intrigued by what you said Andy said about

iron. My doctor would also be interested in that. Appointment in 3 days, on

Thurs.

Here are some results from my CBC:

Here are my test results, along with the lab's ranges for females:

>BIOCHEMISTRY--

>Uric Acid: 2.1 (Range: 3.6-7.7)

>Globulin: 1.8 (Range: 2.0-3.8 g/dl)

>IRON: 20 ug/dl (Range: 60-180 ug/dl)

>Ferritin, Serum: **<1 ng/ml** (Range: 10-291). -->ACK! SO LOW! Andy's book

says optimal level 70-90!

Optimal is actually 30-70. In any case, this is very low. So, you begin by

taking asocrbic acid with every meal, and eat a lot of leafy greens. Also,

consume the drippings from red meat. Only supplement if absolutely necessary,

and in that case, search on AM for the right form of iron.

>CBC--

>RBC: 4.30 (Range: 4.5-5.2 millions/mm3)

>Hemoglobin: 10.6 (Range: 12-16 g)

>% Hb: 75.7 (Range: 80-100)

>MCH: 24.7 (Range: 27-31)

>MCHC: 33.3 (Range: 32-36)

>Hematocrit: 31.8 (Range: 37-47)

>MVC: 73.9 (Range: 80-96 microns)

>WHITE CELLS: 4.300 (Range: 4.5-11.0) Thousands/mm3

>Lymphocytes: 54.2 (Range: 20-50%)

>Neutrophils (Seg) 38 (Range: 35-75%)

>Mid: 7.8 (Range: 0-14%)

>OBSERVATIONS: Cytopenia, Hypochromia, Microcytosis (What do these mean?)

>Platelet count: 143.000 (Range: 150-500) -------->WHY ARE MY PLATELETS

LOW???!!

>(I think the parts below might apply to urine)

>MICROSCOPY--

>WBC: 2/Field

[...]

Well, I don't really know what all these tests mean, but I gather you have some

immune activation.

If you really want to know what all this is, just get yourself a good medical

dictionary, and go to town. That's what I do.

Anyone familiar with iron and anemia and Hg---

>Help, need help w/iron issues, anemia, supps, diarrhea, etc.

>Whoa. After reading through archives regarding anemia and Hg and

supplementation, I wonder:

>Could my very, very strange bowel movements, coupled with utterly

debilitating fatigue be

due to the chelated iron I'm taking (since I'm very anemic, according to the

previously- posted CBC results)???

I doubt it.

>I started 100mg of chelated iron + Cal-Mag-Zinc liquid, + colloidal minerals

+ 1000 mcg B-12, 8 days ago. This was recommended by my holistic dentist in

Tijuana who ran my CBC and revealed my anemia.

Remember, mercury poisoned people can sometimes dump iron as an attempt to

decrease oxidative damage. So, not having enough in the diet is only one

possible problem leading to your low ferritin.

>Around that time, I also started having somewhat looser, and VERY, VERY DARK,

greenish-black stools.

That just sounds like a lot of bile and fast transit through the gut.

>I dismissed it. NOW, for the past 3 days, I've had horrendous diarrhea, in the

same horrid color, with increased urgency: happens 6-8 times in 3 days. I never

have any type of BM that often, normally. I take the iron at breakfast and

lunch, and the liquid minerals at breakfast only.

>This very concerning diarrhea has occurred at the same time as the following

events, (therefore I had previously figured the diarrhea was related to this):

to help me with bad Candida problems, I started an anti-candida diet program

someone else on this group said worked for him/her. Concurrently, I began

having much deeper fatigue than my hypoadrenal situation had EVER caused me.

Could barely walk. Couldn't care for my 2 year old in any way. Couldn't even

fold laundry. The candida program site says this is my " Herxheimer Reaction, "

which is a good sign of candida die-off, so I want to keep it up. Only thing is

this horrid diarrhea that started the same day I started the anti-candida diet.

>But again, the actual dark greenish-black COLOR of what comes out started

several days before the diarrhea started.

>Does anyone think my weird BM color and/or the bad diarrhea are possibly from

the chelated iron he has me taking (maybe related to Hg)? Or is it as I first

supposed, from the Candida diet?

>Just to eliminate one variable, I'm going to cut way back on my Vit. C water

tomorrow and see whether I still get diarrhea.

I think you're doing too many things at once, and can't figure out what's going

on. The only problem vitamin C could cause, is loose stools. It is the thing

that you probably need the most. You should have probably established your

dose level of this _first_ before doing anything else.

>Help!

>

Dave.
