Arsenic now showing up on tests

I've been trying to find a DR to get DMPS. I showed my new Doc

(actually an RN) my hair test from a year ago that shows low mercury

and high aluminum. She insisted on a Metametrix Toxic Metals -

Whole blood test to check mercury. And yes, we did debate over the

validity of a blood test (previous blood test from other doc was neg

for all metals). She said the whole blood was very different and

checked red blood cells for mercury.

Anyway, test came back very high levels of mercury, high aluminun,

and and red zone Arsenic.

Where the heck did the Arsenic come from? Did previous 13 rounds

stir it up?? Or not show up on hair test due to poor excretion?

Hopefully not a new source... really worried about this new

development.

Is the higher levels on the blood test from mercury due to chelation?

Good news is she will prescribe DMPS. Should I start at 20 or 25mg

since DMSA was at 12?

Does insurance cover DMPS? I tried to check some previous posts

but only found prices, so I'm guessing no.

Background: I've done 13 rounds so far and was up to 25 DMSA 25

ALA, but had to lower dose on last 2 rounds to 12 dmsa/6 ala due to

increased symptoms... maybe stall period. I'm 9 months post amalgam.
