Guest guest
That or low thyroid. Which often causes that crash in the afternoon. Some people have different patterns of low cortisol, and yours might be ok in the am and really low later in the day or your thyroid is low. Yes, hyper arousal/stress would be an indicator for adrenal problems. > > Reading about the pattern of fatigued in the morning and peppier in the evening makes me wonder about adrenal fatigue for me...I have the opposite pattern, fine in the morning and fatigued after lunch and exhausted by 3pm till bedtime. > > Also, 20 years ago, my cortisol tested high on blood work and I spent 1 week collecting all my urine to test for something, but I don't know what...the something was not present. Last time I had a conventional medical test, my cortisol was not sky high. > > For background, I have been hypervigilant all my life due to trauma & think that hyper arousal like this would burn out something, even without the mercury poisoning...does this hodge podge still point to adrenal fatigue? I'll appreciate any thoughts. Helen >
