Sidney > hey sid, I can't really answer your question but being recently diagnosed with gilbert's syndrome I will tell you this: when my candida problems started 4 years ago i had liver tests and my bilirubin was 1,25 so slightly elevated, then as I was treating candida and supporting liver health throughout the next 2 years it dropped to 1.1. (so basically from 2004 to the fall of 2006 it kept on a steady level of 1.1-1.2). Then I found out about my possible mercury problem from a hair analysis and in october 2006 had an unprotected mercury removal exposure RIGHT AFTER which my health completely collapsed with me NOW having huge dementia and basically mental illness. As I said, the 1.1 bilirubin score was right before the amalgam removal. In february 2007 I had bilirubin of 1.35 (first time ever) and just recently it has been 2.55 and of course I am feeling worse than ever and i am continuing to go downhill. So bascially my bilirubin levels are a direct mirroring of progression of my health problems and no doubt it has got to do with mercury exposure since that's when the spiking started. so in theory, chelation should resolve it, yeah.
