Guest guest
I'm not by any means trying to down play the serious nature of your condition but No one knows how long you have and if this doctor is " writing you off " get another one. I am not aware of anyone currently with lung mets but there have been several. When I get a moment I'll look for you and send you some posts. Hang in there friend Prayers coming your way Narice In a message dated 10/29/2005 4:10:54 PM Eastern Standard Time, hlen@... writes: Hi Folks, I think I mentioned when I first came on that I have recurrent colon cancer with mets to the lungs. My liver is fine and so far the other organs seem fine. The nodules in my lung are too numerous to count but I don't remember how big they were. I think the largest was 15 mm. My tumor in my pelvis is at the outside of the original resection. The left kidney is damaged by the tumor cutting off the flow down the ureter but I have a stint in it now. I have not heard from anybody whose colon cancer has metastasized to the lungs. The doctor wrote me off immediately. I am taking chemo to make dying easier (Doctor's words.) Has anybody had this experience or anything like it, or heard of anyone who has. Thanks. Len McKinleyville,CA
