I agree with Ruthie on this.I had a three year old and new baby and had a long walk to nursery.Found a big old carriage pram second hand with pram seat.Toddler loved it and baby slept well in it,and we could walk for miles.By age 4 she was getting rather heavy mind you and hat to get off on hills. Also had a double buggie which was also very useful for shopping in town and laid flat for baby.Bought it second hand and recently was approached by someone who has bought it off me.I still have the carriage pram and use it regularly . Friend of mine bought a buggy board but her toddler would never go on it,so she has sold it on.I suppose it depends on the toddler. Kate Member Selby Rural NCT P.S my mum still has her old carriage pram from us as she loved it so much, and has used it for the grandkids,so they are still out there.
