People who are already high in cysteine can add the other amino acids - glutamine and glycine - plus magnesium (which we already take anyway) to push the pathway towards glutathione production. Guest guest
Because of the digestive problems and yeast you may want to look at dietary interventions. Diet is not a one size fits all thing - each individual will have specific needs depending on their situation, but there are some similarities that many of us have. See the files in the files section: Diet - How to pick the right one for your kid.txt Foods high in readily available sulfur (thiol) groups.doc Neutrophils, Yeast and DMSA.txt Sulfur foods feed yeast - that is one thing to keep in mind. Try alka seltzer gold or the recipe for it in the files section for brain fog. Don't feel discouraged! I have been chelating with DMPS for about 2 years and I'm just getting started with ALA now (for different reasons than yours, but I did have to find out about A LOT of problems that I have and correct them with diet, supplements, medications) J > > ALA is getting me really frustrated. > > It is now about 18 months since I had my last filling removed, and I > have been trough about 40 rounds > of (mostly) DMSA. Guest guest
How much glutamine and glycine is a normal amount ? Could I take glutathione instead ? A MD told me to take NAC, but I haven't dared due to the possible sulphur issue. - Kyrre > > -------------------------------------------------- > > Sent: Monday, October 06, 2008 3:52 PM > To: <frequent-dose-chelation > > Subject: Re: ALA trouble - need advise / > encouragement > > > You mentioned getting more digestive problems with ALA.. > > nausea, muscle fatigue goes along with what I > > experienced ,This was because ALA removes glutathione from the > > liver.. pg 204 AI>...
