Guest guest Posted August 31, 2008 Report Share Posted August 31, 2008 According to Blaylock, Health and Nutrition Secrets (2006), p. 83, N-acetyl cysteine (the supplement for glutathione) can carry mercury from the blood into the brain, therefore, in mercury toxicity, N-acetyl cysteine should be taken only at the same time as branched- chain amino acids since the BCAAs preferentially use the blood-brain transport portal.
