Guest guest
, I'm curious as to what size doses you are taking. If this was me and I could reduce my doses I would. I am 18 months post-removal, and I have only done 14 rounds. For a long time I was taking 6mg DMSA. I still haven't added ALA and I don't plan to until I can take 25mg DMSA with no minimal effects. By using very low doses and taking long periods off I have avoided most side effects and have steadily improved. I have had lots of trouble with allergic reactions but have gotten it them under control by avoiding foods, taking anti-histamines, limiting chelation, and sweating. My impression is that allergies are cumulative - the more active allergy you have the more new allergies will emerge. Chelation is definitely a stress and if I think it is making my allergies worse I take a break. I tried lots of different diets but it was only after I took the 125 food IgG test and eliminated most of those foods that I saw dramatic improvement. At one point I had itchiness and flushing like you describe and it got so bad that I would have dangerous allergic attacks (anaphylaxis). This forced me to get all this under control or else I wouldn't have been able to chelate. The over-the-counter antihistamine Zyrtec is extremely effective in controlling many of these allergic reactions, and I take that every day to keep this stuff under control. Sounds to me like you need to get these allergies under control. There is a certain amount of chelation that makes you sicker that can be tolerated, but obviously if it keeps getting worse and worse that could be a problem. Good luck, Dave --- H wrote: > Its coming up to 6 Months Amalgam removal, i only > started chelating 2 > months later. So ive done 3 months DMSA only and > about 3/4 weeks of > ALA.
