Guest guest
Thanks Beth and all for your reply about the food. I didn't think that they could hurt but one never knows when dealing with this disease. It is very foreign to me. I am also a very, very positive person. I know what you are saying about doing the best for and with what you have. I wasn't trying to suggest otherwise. I just believe that a positive mind set has to help also. To me it's like they tell atheletes to visualize success. See yourself crossing the finish first. See yourself negotiating your most difficult part of the sport. So, I'm seeing my lungs in the best light possible. I really don't know if I expect the scarring to go away, but I'm going to visualize that. It's also so new scarring won't happen. Do I expect it to work. Until I see it doesn't I'm going to keep working on it. Even afterwards. It's a goal that I'm going to strive for. It's something that I'm going to do besides my treatment, whatever the Dr. decides. I'm still hoping for the Ambrisentan study. I know this will sound wacky to some, but I talk to my body and tell it that I will try to get the stuff that it needs and take care of it if it will use the stuff to take care of itsself. It's more goal setting and positve thinking for me. I feel better after that one sided conversation. So far the body owes me one as I see it. LOL. I guess that they sre coping mechanisms, but maybe they will work. I know being positive and having a sense of humor, which almost all of the people on this site have shown to have, does work. Anyway, enough rambling. I do enjoy reading the posts and seeing the selflessness and commaraderie shown. Not to mention the info given out. Best regards and good luck to everyone.
