Guest guest
Hello to all , I'm new to the group but not to the colon cancer. I have been battling it for a year and half now. Well not just colon, but rectal colon. When they found it , it was in stage 4 . No warning sign or nothing. Been handling it well...but like everyone from time to time I just need a shoulder. The doctors don't give me till Chirstmas this year, but I hope to prove them all wrong. So tell me when is anyone in the room to chat or do you do that here? Looking forward to talking to all of you and getting to know you.
Guest guest
Hi , Welcome!!!! So sorry we had to meet under this circumstance. I personally do not use the chat. Have enough trying to keep up with posts but love everyone here so much. I think you will feel at home here quickly. We talk of everything and whine and cry here. Questions are always answered here since sorry to say most have endured one treatment or another. Tell us about yourself. Do you have children? I have a 13 year old son. I am stage 3 and have had a reoccurance near the original sight that had been removed (hopefully) this past June. Hope you come and visit often. God Bless YOU!!! Guest guest
So very well said!!!!!!! > > : > > I couldn't help but see a little something in your remarks about your husband that this saying might help with. It was a real eye- opener for me years ago when I heard it. > > " Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want him or her to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all he or she have. " > > Sometimes I think we struggle with recognizing the love and compassion from others because we only have our OWN definitions and standards to compare it to. In other words, I show you love this way and when I don't get it back this way I don't recognize. Do some serious searching and look for your husband's definition and expression. I bet you will find it if you can remove your definitions and expressions long enough. I sincerely hope so any way. > > You know, men especially are just not good at expressing emotions. The saying could also be adapted to explain the way one copes with this kind of situation. > > Prayers and hugs. You will find plenty of love here. > > MA > > > > > From: " H.
