Guest guest
I was having chemo all day today and I sat next to a financial planner. She asked me whether I was receiving social security for myself and my 2 sons. I told her " no " since I am not old enough for social security. She said I was wrong. Since I worked for 20 years and paid into it and I now have stage 4 colon cancer, I am apparently eligible to apply and receive it retroactive to the date of onset of my illness. Does anyone have experience with this? In a message dated 11/14/2005 10:23:27 A.M. Pacific Standard Time, cliffh@... writes: As always, I'm praying for you. Guest guest
No experience with this, but I have heard it before. Give them a call and see what it can get you. They used to have an on line questionnaire one could fill out but it bogged down too much.. Doesn't hurt to call them and may gain you something.
