And very much an all low profile. I assume recommended

digestive aids like Betaine HCl to improve digestion and absorption

of nurtrients? And supplemental lithium?---------Jackie

Yes, I actually discovered digestive enzymes on my own a few years

ago, after an MD had me on acid-blockers (for " GERD " )for over a year,

and I started reading about such things and decided to test whether I

actually had too little stomach acid. I'm sure that's the case for

MANY people.

----------Yes, I think this is a huge problem. I recently had a problem, and

a mainstream doctor suggested acid blockers and was almost appalled that I was

taking extra Betaine HCl. He was *sure* I had too much acid. Well, just to

appease him, I stopped using my digestive aids for two days, and I was

miserable! Starting taking them again, and I was fine. So I agree, mainstream

medicine has this all backwards, and I think its because the pharmaceutical

companies are pushing their drugs. JMO----------Jackie

I haven't tried lithium yet, but am thinking about it.

----------I don't recall if I told you this already, but VRP has it in the

form and amount that Andy says is safe to use.---------Jackie

I tested low for vitamin D (now taking 5,000 units)

----------I also take 5,000 IU's a day, and my numbers are finally coming up.

I need to get those retested to see where I'm at.---------Jackie

and DHEA---my MD

suggested 10 mg and I've been doing that but may increase it a

little. Just don't want to grow a beard! Is there a best time of day

to take DHEA?

---------- told me to take my DHEA in the morning. She started me on

25mg in the morning, and when we retested my hormones last fall, she increased

it to 25mg in the morning and 25 at noon. I haven't had any negative side

effects from this, and no beard ;) ----------Jackie

Thanks,

Alice
