After ages of no contact at all i am suddenly getting loads...for

someone with the same name , same year at Trent Poly!

Whoever she was she obviously had a bit of a wild time as a lot

of the messages are quite worrying! One this evening was a

long rambling one about how she saved this girl from suicide,

another one about some wild nights this bloke remembered...it's

rather spooky :((

I've had to change my message about myself to state that there

was obviously another girl with the same name at Trent Poly and

I've stated what subject I studied in the hope this will put them

off!

On the good side I have tracked the sister of a good friend at

primary school and she has given me this friends phone

number...just need the nerve to phine her up!

I started getting a load of spam after registering there using an account that

was created especially and isn't used anywhere else. Admittedly it *is* a

hotmail account and I do list it in my biog at F.R. but even so, the spam is

from the less savoury end of the spectrum.

I did come accross a useful service at www.mailexpire.com which allows you to

create aliases from up to three months for registering at those sites that your

are not quite sure about

I get absolutely no spam at the address that I have got registered with

I seem to remember FriendsReunited said they'd changed their system

so that spammers can't get access to email addresses.

(Currently feeling very warm and cuddly towards FriendsReunited.)
