Guest guest
If your problems are caused by mercury then yes, those are reasonable goals. The biggest barrier and thing to keep in mind is that it takes a long time. How long is hard to say, but it seems like two years is common. During chelation there are long periods of seemingly no progress. It takes lots of patience and persistence. But I've read enough spectacular success stories in the short time I've been on this list (and AMC) to believe it. More important, I'm vastly improved myself. And I've been doing it less than a year. Recently there was a post from someone (either here or in AMC) who had had little progress after more than 65 rounds. He still couldn't touch alcohol, and was generally not much better. The turning point for him came I believe around 105 rounds (probably about 2 years) when all or most of his symptoms pretty much vanished, and he felt quite normal again. By the time he posted he felt as though he was done, he didn't see the need for any more improvement. He felt fine and could participate in life normally. That seems to be the pattern. Another gentleman chelated over 2 years, and suddenly realized his photographic memory had returned. So just keep slogging away. Go slow and don't get anxious. You're in it for the long haul. But two years goes by before you know it. Dean Re: Ppl that have been cured and dont need to chelate anymore-Reasonable Goals? What are some reasonable expectations for recovery? It's really hard for me to imangine so many people doing wonderfuly! For some reasons I want details. Several people said no more CFS, does that include adrenal support (HC) and thyroid medication (Amour/Cytomel)? Dyslexia (visual/writing/reading)? Weight loss? Dark circles under the eyes/pale face? The ability to enjoy a nice alcoholic drink? Or to feel lightheaded/buzz? Clean and organized house? Return of short-term memory? Being able to think of the word I want to use? Being able to put a sentence together. Having fun living life out of the house 12+hrs a day (social fun)? Generally being able to thrive VS survive? Are my goals reasonable? Including the dyslexia?
