Hi,

Here's my first hair test:

http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/files/hairtest_179.pdf

I seem to be very high on copper...

Perhaps I'm " Cu-toxic " and not " Hg-toxic " , as I've thought up till now.

This is my background:

1) What are your current symptoms and health history?

I have a history of intestinal problems. Was diagnosed with Crohn's

disease (IBD) at the age of 13. Currently I'm ~30 years old and have

IBS like symptoms which sometime tend a bit towards IBD. I've done

maybe 15 rounds of ALA chelation, started with 10 rounds of 100 mg of

ALA for 1 week ON, 1 week OFF. After about 10 rounds, I startet

getting symptoms of chest tightness which led me to stop chelation for

maybe 6 months. I'm not at it again, but now with a much smaller

dosage: 12.5 mg every 2-3 hours for 3-4 days.

2) Dental history (wisdom teeth removed? First root canal placed?

Braces? First amalgam etc...)

I've never had any amalgam fillings.

3) What dental work do you currently have in place? What part of the

dental cleanup have you completed?

Some composite fillings.

4) What dentistry did your mother have at any time before or during

pregnancy?

Some amalgam fillings (5+?), before duing and after pregnancy.

5) What vaccinations have you had and when (including flu and

especially travel shots)?

Can't remember exactly, but I was vaccinated once before I went to

Africa, and once before I went to the Caribbean.

6) Supplements and medications (including dosages) taken at time of

hair test, or for the 3-6 months before the sample was taken.

Some magnesium (~150 mg / day), selenium (~200 mcg / day) and C-vit

(250 mg / day).

7) Other information you feel may be relevant?

My father was a dentist, and my mother worked as a dental assistant

before, during and after her pregnancy. As a teenager I worked a

couple of hours every weekend cleaning my fathers dental practice.
