Guest guest
LOL Missy - Very funny...and familiar. We had the traditional easter egg hunt for Jacqui on Sunday also. I don't enjoy Easter. I don't enjoy holidays. But that's a different post. I thought I'd try to be clever this year and draw a " map " for Jacqui to follow. Dh thought it was a good idea, but it never made it to Jacqui's hands. She woke up VERY early on Sunday morning, but being the wonderful child that she is, did not wake us up. We finally did get up and she was more than ready to find her eggs. She ran downstairs and said 'Where's my basket'? She has a basket made from a milk carton, decorated like a bunny that she collects her eggs in. She found it and was OFF! I didn't even have time to find the map. She obviously didn't need it. Within 5 minutes she was done. I had " hidden " about 14 items, 10 of which were eggs. Every egg that she found, she opened and after the 3rd one would grunt a disappointed " awwwwwww " because it apparently wasn't what she wanted. (we weren't very creative in candy buying this year). When she was finished finding them all, we could tell that she had not had enough. She started " finding " things that were just laying around and would say " THERE'S ONE " , pick it up and say " Look what the Easter Bunny brought me " . I guess we need to be more clever next year...I REALLY wish she had no interest... Penny too funny my child is outside in the side yard(Ashlyn of course) with my clothespin bag throwing clothes pins around the area and then toting the bag around like an Easter basket to find the clothespin and saying YEAH every time she finds one, lol Missy in AL wife, mother, homesteader, writer, student, teacher, dreamer
