Guest guest
Hey, Group... What an exhaustive, exhausting rigamarole that was! Every imaginable test, plus talks with nutritionists, exercise therapy people, a person who just explained the listing and transplant process, etc etc. It actually turned into a four-day eval., because they thiought they found something else that it turned out they didn't, thankfully. If anybody needs or wants specifics of what tests I had, e-mail me and I won't have to bore those who don't need/want the information. I still haven't had the heart cath., which I will have closer to home next week and then at some point I'll meet with the committee that decides for their recommendation. While I was there, on the 4th, they transplanted a guy who was just listed the 31st of July! One other thing, if you go to the U. of Penn.,try to avoid staying at Penn Tower. Way too much money for what you get, except for convenience. Bill C. IPF 10/08 Somewhere N. of town, PA
