Guest guest Posted July 12, 2004 Report Share Posted July 12, 2004 Fiscal Year 2005 Competitive Application Cycle for Service Area; Competition for the Consolidated Health Center Program (CHCP) SUMMARY: The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announces that approximately $355,000,000 is available in fiscal year (FY) 2005 funds to promote the continued operation of community-based primary health care service systems in medically underserved areas for medically underserved populations. It is expected that each application submitted to serve one of these areas will present a clear focus on maintaining access to care and reducing health disparities identified in the target population. Potential applicants must obtain and respond to the FY 2005 Service Area Competition guidance in order to apply for funding. This announcement does not contain sufficient information in itself to use for developing an application. Authorizing Legislation: Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act, as amended (42 U.S.C. 254b).
